create impressive collages easily

A picture is worth a thousand words. So just have a look at these application screen shots to get an impression of the possibilities MB-Collage offers:

First start with the selection and definition of the layout:

You can start with a grid of rectangles, …

… diamonds, …

… hexagons, …

… octagons, …

… a centered polygon, …

or you convert these layouts to a net of polygons and crop it to a very individual layout.

If you like circles more, here we go: A circle surrounded by circles, …

… a circle grid, …

… concentric circles, …

… or a cake shape.

Or you just start of one of many available templates.

For mathematician: just define some points and let MB-Collage calculate the area based on a Voronoi diagram

And if you like crystallography: design your own two-dimensional elementary cell …

… and MB-Collage creates the corresponding layout.

To complete the layout, you can add more special shapes as overlays to any of these mentioned layouts.

Then fill the layout with your pictures (click on the images to enlarge them for details):

Organize your images in the gallery section, …

… Drag&Drop the images to the layout and choose the best view of the picture by panning and zooming the image.

And finally thicker borders with rounded corners.

You can normalize the images,

change brightness and contrast,

convert them to black&white images,

or use a sepia color filter

Each picture also has a context menu …

But be aware: less can be more. Like this collage showing always the same rose, …

… or this collage showing the same image of the sky (with a light color gradient) in each frame.
