Remote Interface
MB-Ruler has a developer interface to communicate with other
applications.
For the communication, the windows messageing system is used
(SendMessage and PostMessage).
The installation of MB-Ruler includes an example application
(with Delphi 5 source code) the remote interface.
(RulerRemoteInterface.exe bzw. RulerRemoteInterface.zip in
the application directory of MB-Ruler)
The MB-Ruler remote interface offers these function:
- set the active measure instrument
- get the active measure instrument
- get the measured data of the active measure instrument
- get the position data of the active measure instrument
- set the position data of the active measure instrument
- store measure data
- inform the client application, when values have changes
